Every day this week we’re going to study psychology with stories about a lady named Amy, so watch every day!
Amy works in sales and has been guarding against negative words. Sheis ready to try positivity!
Amy is about to present a new sales concept, but suddenly an inner voice whispers, “Your idea won’t be heard. You’re not important.”
Our inner thoughts can become our biggest enemy, growing into ongoing negative stories we tell ourselves.
Dan McAdams, a Northwestern University psychologist, calls this “Narrative Identity”: stories we create about ourselves- our own personal myth based on how we view the facts and events of our life.
So what will happen with Amy? Let’s find out tomorrow!
See you tomorrow for A MINUTE of POSITIVITY with EfeX!
