The path to aspiring academics is marked by a number of 'gates' including IGCSE, IB Diploma, TOEFL, IELTS, SAT and ACT. One or several of these qualifications are the 'tickets' for your children to higher education. These qualifications also signify the kinds of skills that successful university students require. Many universities in the USA require high scores in both TOEFL and SAT. The IB Diploma is internationally accepted, especially for students with high scores, but an IELTS or TOEFL certificate is usually also required to enter overseas universities. EfeX is here to prepare students for the real tests. We provide materials from renowned U.S. testing preparation programs so they can be more familiar with the format of TOEFL and SAT. Our teachers are experienced in up-skilling students in IGCSE and IB Diploma subjects, as well having many years of experience equipping students for the TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, and ACT certificates.

Every week our teachers teach step by step strategies so that students can perform better in the examinations. Students who diligently follow our EfeX system and practice outside the class will achieve impressive results.

IGCSE

Students of the EfeX IGCSE-based Thinking Skills Course develop the EfeX 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Communication, Creativity, and Character) through the study of IGCSE English materials. The vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, as well as written and spoken expression are at the level of the end of the IGCSE English course, while the 'game changing' skills go far beyond the assessment requirements of the IGCSE. IGCSE students who compliment their school course with the EfeX IGCSE-based English Thinking Skills Course also learn to skills such as writing a line of reason, effective decision making for multiple choice tests, essay cohesion, and many more.

IB Diploma

High scoring students of the IB Diploma are required to display many of the attributes of the EfeX 4Cs and Growth mindset. EfeX assists students to explore, research and develop their IB Diploma independent assessments,  Extended Essays, and TOK essays and presentations while developing skills that will equip them for success in universities throughout the world.

TOEFL

The TOEFL iBT measures how well you read, listen, speak and write in English and use these skills together in the university classroom. Students will be given a passage or a lecture to listen to, and then you will be required to write or speak about what you've just learned. 

We will help you prepare and increase your TOEFL iBT score. You will learn how to read and retain detailed information, construct writing points and make them into nice, logical paragraphs, plan your speech and to speak it with confidence. Throughout the program you will learn to develop vocabulary and put grammar into writing and speaking in order to pass the TOEFL iBT successfully.

IELTS

The EfeX IELTS course prepares students with the skills specifically required to score well in the EILTS test. These skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking are also highly sought after by universities, meaning the insights and skills gained in the EfeX IELTS course will equip students for success in the IELTS test AND in a university overseas.  

SAT

The SAT measures students’ competencies in three subject areas- math writing and critical reading. The SAT critical reading requires both extensive and intensive vocabulary building. This is where EfeX comes in.

If you are taking the SAT preparation, we will help you to know what to expect and teach you the tips and tricks on how to answer the test, how to analyze the questions in order to come up with the correct answers.
