Positivity Matters, Week 2: Attitude Matters, Day 3: Garbage In, Garbage Out (Growing Good Thoughts)

Have you ever forgotten to take wet garbage outside? It smells gross! Filling your mind with negative thoughts is just like keeping garbage in your mind. After a while, you’ll also PRODUCE garbage- in the form of negative attitudes, bad words and regrettable behavior, including self-pity, anger, bitterness, sinful thoughts, envy, worries, fears and unpleasant memories.
So, how can you clean up your mind? Take those bad thoughts captive! Don’t let negativity run your life! Replace negative thoughts with good thoughts: things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, of good virtue, and praiseworthy. Practice positivity, healthy expectations, good behavior, pleasant words, and satisfying relationships. Speak LIFE; not loathing! Find joy in every day!
