English For Excellence

2017, So Far.

We are now entering our Summer Term of 2017.

This year has been colorful so far. We have revamped our curriculum with new workbooks! Each student will now be freely given one workbook at the start of each term. We are beyond happy that students will now be able to learn and practice their English better.

We also have started to integrate a fresh and new outtake on learning English with Project Based Learning.

Project Based Learning, -or PBL,- is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. Children are now more involved with what they are learning through PBL, as the projects are a different approach compared to workbook exercises or tests and quizzes. Students are encouraged to be hands-on and involved with the projects that they do, and in turn will hone their critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills.

The projects will differ each term and with each changing novel curriculum. The students will be working with their classmate on a project that is not just a textbook question, but they will be doing research and actions that is relevant to day-to-day life, ensuring a definite understanding of what they are learning at EfeX and making students able to contribute to society even from early ages.

So far, PBL has proven to be stimulating and enjoyable for students. They are excited to go to class and work with their classmates to produce beautiful projects. We are working on showcasing them in our gallery. Stay tuned to our website!

As always, we are happy to help with any questions you may have to make sure you gain only positive experiences at EfeX!
